Our movement continues to gain momentum!
Last week, more than 1,000 people turned out in Boston to March for Racial and Economic Justice. First, we rallied at Faneuil Hall and then took to the streets! We marched to the State House. A delegation delivered a letter Governor Baker.
Meanwhile, Senator Dan Wolf, D-Harwich, announced that Senate Bill 1024, a measure requiring a $15 minimum wage for workers at fast food restaurants and big box retail stores, was passed by the Labor and Workforce Development Committee by a 4-2 vote.
